In Process Engineer - QC

Hiring a Quality Engineer (Diploma/B.E. Mechanical) with 3–5 years’ experience. Responsible for in-process inspections, root cause analysis, COPQ reporting, non-conformance closure, audit support, and ensuring compliance with quality standards in manufacturing processes.

Qualification - Diploma/B.E. - Mechanical Engineering

Experience - 3 -5 yrs

Key Skills:

  • In Process  Quality Functions
    • Performing First piece inspection & giving clearance to start production.
    • Follow the process of "In process quality" as defined by HOD. Submitting the report on quality deviations, rejections, and rework along with an action plan, action to HOD.
    • Follow quality control plan approved by the quality head (whenever applicable).
    • Final dimensional testing & inspection stagewise.
    • Submit the report of COPQ (Cost of poor quality) at different stages of production to the section head.
    • Report failure that occurs at different stages or production to the section head.
    • Maintain in process inspection records.
    • Give input to the section head for correction engineering drawings if required.
    • Raise engineering change note for deviation if required and submit it to the section head.
    • Closing the non-conformance reports /notifications.
    • Do the Inspection and take approval from the section head for usage decisions.
    • Generate inspection reports for tested items and submit to the section head.
    • Complete the work as per the prescribed time limit by the section head
    • Maintain documents required for internal audits.
    • Help in Audits conducted by external agencies, customers, etc.
    • With the help of production for process rejections and resolving the issues of suppliers through inward QC & Purchase.

  • Rejections
    • Prepare the list of rejections/network & submit to the section head.
    • Do the root cause analysis, discuss the same with the section head & take corrective actions as suggested by the section head.
