Description
GB2 is a permanently lubricated thick shaft spur gear drive with 0.3Nm Gear Torque. It can combined with various types of motors. In this gearhead, spur gears rotate on hard steel spindles which are polished to a mirror finish. To dampen running noise at slow running times and low motor loads, the initial spur gears after the rotor shaft are made of injection-molded polyacetal. The spur gears close to the output shaft, on the other hand, are made of metal. The output shaft is mounted in two special brass bushes.
The entire gear train is put between metal plates with a plastic frame. It is permanently lubricated and therefore requires no maintenance. Thicker shafts (Ø 6-7mm) mounted in robust bushing (Ø 12) are available in the new variant (GB2S). This gearbox can combined with Synchronous Motors, BLDC Motors, PM Stepper Motors, and DC Geared Motors as per requirement.
